Mint Facial Mask For Sunburn and Sun Tan

I know it’s so nice to soak in beach water, bathe under the sun and achieve that dream tanned skin. This is a good experience but sometimes can lead to skin problems like sunburn or skin pigmentation if you have stayed too long under the sun. 


In this article you will a natural way of treating this skin problem by creating a very simple yet effective facial mask.

To start with the process, you will need to prepare the following ingredients:

- 1 tbsp Mint paste

- 1 tbsp Yogurt

Note: Follow the ratio 1:1 in preparing the ingredients. You can add more ingredients if you will use the mask in larger areas of your skin.

Before we go through the process of creating the mask, let us first look at the details of each ingredients and know why they are effective treating sunburn and gets rid of that sun tan.

Mint – the refreshing and cooling effect of mint herbs helps soothe the irritated skin caused by sunburn. It also contains essential amounts of vitamin A which is good for your skin and fights skin inflammation. Aside from this, mint is also an analgesic meaning it works as a natural pain killer.

Yogurt – this contains lactic acid which gently removes the top layer of your skin while keeping it soft and moisturized. In this way it naturally helps in treating hyper pigmentation while promoting the production of new skin cells.

Instructions:

1. Gather all the ingredients and place them in a clean bowl.

2. Properly mix all the ingredients until it becomes a smooth paste.

3. Apply the mixture on a cleansed face including your neck.

4. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes so that the ingredients can do their work.

5. Rinse off with clean cold water and pat dry your face.

Note: You can perform this step every day until you get the result you wanted.
