DIY Coffee And Frankincense Under Eye Cream For Wrinkles & Puffy Eyes

Our under eye is the most sensitive part of our face that why it needs regular and gentle care. In this article you will learn how to create your very own under cream which can help promote healthies and young looking skin.


First, we have to create a coffee infused oil using the following ingredients:

- 3 to 4 tbsp ground coffee

- Sweet almond oil (other options: coconut oil/olive oil)

Here is how we can make the coffee infused oil:

1. In a clean jar, add the ground coffee and just enough sweet almond oil to cover it.

2. Make sure the jar is tightly closed and store it in your cabinet or cupboard for 4 to 5 days or up to 7 days to ensure that the coffee is totally infused.

3. Now using a cheesecloth, strain the oil into another jar. Squeeze all the oil as much as you can.

Now we already have our first ingredient, here is a full list of ingredients and its proper measurement we need to prepare in order to start with the process:

- 10 drops frankincense essential oil

- 7 drops chamomile oil

- 3 tbsp coffee infused oil

- 3 capsules vitamin E

- 2 tbsp shea butter

- 1 teaspoon rosehip oil

- ¼ teaspoon beeswax

Using these ingredients, follow the instructions below on how to create an eye cream as the finished product:

1. In a double boiler, add the ingredients shea butter and besswax in a clean bowl. Stir this two ingredients properly using a spatula until they are totally melted and mixed together.

2. Remove the bowl of oil from the heat.

3. Add the rosehip oil, coffee infused oil, essential oils and vitamin E.

4. Stir them properly.

5. Store in an airtight container for future use.

How to apply the eye cream:

1. Clean your face. If you are putting some serum or toner in the under eye, put them first before you apply the eye cream.

2. Scoop generous amount of eye cream and pat it on the under eye area.

3. Remember not to rub the surface because its skin is sensitive.

4. Gently massage using your fingertips and leave it overnight for the skin to absorb all the oils and vitamins.

5. Wash it off with your facial wash the next morning.
