Remove Blackheads Naturally Using Oatmeal and Yogurt

Blackheads are small bumps that appear on your skin due to clogged hair follicles. These bumps are called blackheads because the surface looks dark or black. It can mostly be found in the face but can also occur in other skin areas such as the back.

You will need:

2 tablespoons oatmeal
3 tablespoons plain yogurt
juice of half lemon

Oatmeal - It can soak up the excess oil on your skin and help treat acne. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help to treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells. Oats also contain compounds called saponins, which are natural cleansers. They remove the dirt and oil that clog the pores and exfoliate the skin.

Yogurt - it contains lactic acid, which, according to the New Zealand Dermatological Society, can help to remove dead skin and reduce signs of aging. Yogurt is often applied as a skin mask to obtain moisturized and clear skin. The zinc in yogurt can help to clear your skin, removing blemishes and acne.

Lemon - the citric acid in lemon acts as a natural astringent and helps to tighten pores which removes and further prevents blackheads. Acid dissolves away dead skin cells oil dirt and other pollutants that are clogging and blocking your skin's pores while fighting germs and bacteria.

Instructions:

1. Mix all the ingredients in bowl until it turns into a paste.
2. Scoop a generous amount using brush or your fingers and gently apply it on your nose of skin with blackheads.
3. Leave it for a few minutes until the paste is dry.
4. Massage in circular motion until the dry paste is removed.
5. Rinse with warm water and repeat this scrub regularly, at least once a week.
